My First Bulmers Bold Black Cherry

Bulmers is a lovely British cider that I tend to buy in bulk over the summer. I find cider a sociable drink. And I don’t mean it makes friends easily, more that its easy to drink with friends. Original is always a classic. It’s like alcoholic apple juice. Not a huge fan of the pear one, but then again don’t like eating a pear normally, so I’m putting my dislike don’t to that. Absolutely LOVED the Crushed Red Berries and Lime version they added to the line up a couple of years ago. It’s like drinking fruit juice that gets you merry. Bulmers have recently added a couple more to their collection, Bold Black Cherry and Pressed Red Grape. I took Bold Black Cherry to a BBQ last night to test out. I did not regret my choice. I thought it would be heavier than the berry and lime one due to its imposing name, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought, as it was still just as refreshing. Bold made me think I was going to be hit in the face with a strong personality that you may want to avoid next time, but instead it stood out from the crowd like a large font. In my ranking of Bulmers ciders, this has just shot to the top. Well done Bulmers. I feel good to be British.
