My First James Bond Film.

As a British Citizen, I often feel ashamed to say I have never seen a whole James Bond film. By “whole” I mean I’ve seen clips and I have fallen asleep during one or two, but I have never seen one from start to finish. I am quite a fan of action films, so I don’t know how I have missed out on 007 for so long. On 5th August, I went for Casino Royale with Daniel Craig.
My opinion…thumbs up! Personally, I think it made a great action film. It was dynamic and fast paced. I love a good fist fight, and I was not disappointed. Enticed in by Craig’s steely stares. I won’t lie, I enjoyed the walking out of the water scene deliberately put in for the girls. Also, I can understand why people are so drawn in to the glamour of it.  The tuxedos, fancy cars and flowing dresses were beautiful.
However, I don’t think it quite met the hype that surrounds the saga. Perhaps I need to watch more of the films to be drawn in more myself. Watching a Sean Connery one has been suggested to me, so I think next time I reach for a Bond film I go for a vintage one. All in all, it was enjoyable and I no longer feel like a bad Brit.
